Gifts of Stock

Making a gift of stock can help preserve and protect the beach and may provide attractive tax benefits.  Your tax advisor or attorney should advise you as to the tax benefits.

There are several ways to give securities:

• An outright gift of stock at its present market value

• Securities left by bequest

How to Donate Stock to Duxbury Beach Reservation

In order to transfer stock, you simply need to provide your broker with the following information:

Account #: 197600 - waiting for new account #
Account Name: Duxbury Beach Reservation Inc. Agency

Please notify the DBR Executive Director at cris@duxburybeachreservation.org or 781-563-0054 to provide a description of the stock transfer (i.e. number of shares and which company) so that your gift can be accurately acknowledged.

Upon receipt of the shares, Duxbury Beach Reservation will send you a letter of acknowledgement.
